Luke Skywalker is a central character in the Star Wars franchise, first appearing in the original film in 1977. He is the son of Anakin Skywalker, also known as Darth Vader, and his mother is Padmé Amidala. Luke is a skilled pilot and was initially a farmhand on the desert planet of Tatooine.
Throughout the original trilogy, Luke evolves from a simple farm boy to a powerful Jedi Knight. He is trained by Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda in the ways of the Force, becoming a key figure in the Rebel Alliance’s fight against the Galactic Empire. Luke is known for his bravery, determination, and strong sense of justice.
As the series progresses, Luke grapples with his heritage as the son of a Sith Lord and struggles to reconcile his own internal conflicts with his duty to the Rebel cause. He ultimately helps to redeem his father, Anakin, and plays a crucial role in the downfall of the Emperor.
Luke is also featured in the sequel trilogy, where he appears as a reclusive and disillusioned Jedi Master, mentoring a new generation of Force users. Throughout the series, Luke’s character is defined by his journey from a naive young man to a wise and powerful Jedi, with his unwavering commitment to fighting for what is right. Mark Hamill has portrayed Luke Skywalker since the first movie in 1977.
Currently, there are only nine copies of this 1977 Star Wars card that have been autographed and authenticated by PSA, this is the highest graded copy. I originally purchased a SGC 8 copy that I cracked and got autographed at a paid signing.
